If I painted you a picture what do you think you would see?
Would you expect to see the sun shining and the flowers growing?
Maybe some tall and mighty mountains?
If I painted you a picture what do you think you would see?
Would you expect to see children laughing and dancing?
Maybe some birds singing among the trees?
If I painted you a picture what do you think you would see?
What if there werent any flowers or mountains?
What if there werent any children or birds?
If I painted you a picture what do you think you would see?

Have you ever seen?
Tell me have you ever seen rainbows dancing on upon the walls?
Have you ever seen the lightning light up the night?
Have you ever seen sun rays shining through the clouds?
Have you ever watch a gentle rainbow appear after a fierce storm?
Would you just sit and watch or would you leave and take no notice?
There is more to such things then everyday life,
These are hope shining through the night,
A little light in the dark.
Tell me have you ever seen rainbows dancing on upon the walls?
Have you ever seen a puppy run after nothing?
Have you ever seen a dolphin jump?
Have you ever watched a curious rabbit poke around?
Would you just
She had roses,
Proudly they stood in her front yard,
Orange, red, pink and yellow too,
Strong twigs get delicate fragrance,
So many bushes with so many flowers,
Their bed framed by red bricks,
With healthy green leaves and colorful petals
They stood without stooping,
She had roses,
Proudly they stood in her front yard,
Orange, red, pink and yellow too,
With morning dew they would shine,
Petals delicately dancing in the wind,
The wonder of God reviled in so intricate a flower,
A tiny had crafted piece of art,
Just one of God's many mysteries,
She had roses,
Proudly they stood in her front yard,

Reflections of The Past
Have you looked in a mirror and seen the reflection,
Not the person looking back at you,
But the reflection of the past
Have you looked through the rain to the puddles?
Can you see the reflection of the dancing child?
The child that once danced in those puddles
Have you looked through a glass to find only you?
Can you see the child that once laughed and held the cup?
Or is the image to distorted, to see the smile that once filled it?
Have you seen the reflection a tear drop can hold?
Can you see only the pain?
Or the reflection of love buried deep?

The Day the mighty strange cowboy had come to town.
With a head full of hair that covered his eyes,
And a cowboy hat to cover that.
It twas the day that the mighty strange cowboy had come to town.
With a tip of his hat to passing ladies,
He would ride through town on his trusty horse,
As he stopped at a well,
A young southern blue bell stopped by to say,
I aint never seen the likes a you here before
with a yes maam and a tip of the hat,
he began drawing water for his horse.
And I never seen a horse such as she, so low to the ground
Thats right maam, and you

Even though it only lasts for a moment the memory lasts forever

Dancing and singing to a celebration song
Smiling at the fun we had even though we weren't there

She's walking among the trees,
The autumn wind is blowing those colorful leaves,
With every step she sees something beautiful but passes it by.
Her heart is seeking peace and comfort,
Her mind is seeking the answers to so many questions.
She has fallen into the stormy water
Fighting the mighty river but she's slowly slipping away,
Trying to grab anything to pull her up,
But her fears make her fingers lose their grip,
All her strength is gone and she's forgotten how to fight.
She's nearly lost hope and she just stopped trying,
All she can see is the water and it's pulling her under,
She's beginning to wond

A simple picture full of simple love
Grandmother and grandchildren all sit together
Moving back and forth on a simple wooden swing
Simple laughter carrying the sound of simple joy
Seven simple smiles full of simple love of one another.
Years have gone by and things have changed
Grandmother and grandchildren sit together once again
Together they sit on a simple floor but all is far from simple
There is almost no simple laughter now and so little happiness
Now eight simple faces with not so simple smiles.
Now the times are no longer simple
Grandmother has gone and grandchildren have separated

Waiting for the rain to fall and wash it all away
She waits for the rain to come and show her how to cry
Afraid to stay in the open but afraid to lose her time to cry
Standing on the sidewalk waiting
Waiting while the lightning strikes and the thunder sounds
She holds the tears inside waiting for the rain
Afraid she might break with the resounding thunder
Standing on the sidewalk waiting
Till the rain began to fall and tears began to flow
She lets everything that she held tight fall free
Afraid it might end before she heals
Standing on the sidewalk waiting

Why wind do you blow so cold, so cruel?
With breath so cold you laugh at trembling bones.
Mirth you find in making the cold colder,
Storms you propel,
Dust you fling
Toss and turn, naught matters but your mirth.
Torture you wrought upon some and yet,
Mercy too you have upon others,
Heat you lesson with a sweet breeze of fresh
Sweet smells you let drift upon your breath
Two maybe of you there are,
One so sweet, the other malicious
But nay you are but one with two faces
You oh wind shall blow,
Whether it be mercy or cruelty that you bring
Clear the air of all that is polluted,
Some good always shall you bring,

Well Friend
Well friend,
The time has come for us to part ways,
For this is not your home,
For you are needed elsewhere,
But for me I must stay,
I must wait a while longer before I to may go.
Well friend,
It has come time for us to say our goodbyes,
Though it may seem hard now,
I wipe away the tears from my eyes and smile,
For I know that though distance may separate us,
We will still be together in heart.
Well friend,
It is time for you to leave now,
It may be a while before we meet again,
I wish to tell you what you have done for me,
I wish to tell you what you mean to me,
For you have done so much.
Well friend,

Three Small Pictures
It was a cold Sunday morning,
All the children in Sunday best all sat ready to learn
Of all the wonders of the Lord,
All accept one small child,
Standing alone in a corner,
She was new that day,
She was standing alone when the pictures caught her eye,
Three small pictures hung on the wall,
The first of a babe in its mother's arms
The girl smiled at the beautiful scene,
The second of that babe, now a young man holding small children in his arms,
She wanted to reach out her hands and give him a hug
The third struck her heart as she saw that same man now hanging on a cross,
A silent tear fell from her eyes,

Yet no recognition do they get,

Silently they leave their homes,
No parades for the brave men and women,
They go to protect our family and friends,

All Alone
All alone on a cold night,
Yet surrounded by so many,
Silent tears sliding down,
All she wants is a mom to hold her,
And a dad to kiss her goodnight,
Stars shining through the window,
She whispers her silent wish,
A home to live in and a family to love her,
She holds her little doll close,
A soft sigh escapes he lips,
She is all alone on this dark night,
No one to comfort the lonely child,
Sadly she wonders if anyone cares,
Silently she cries like every night before,
Others like her come and go but she never leaves,
Crying her self to sleep on those lonely nights,
All she wants is a home to call her own,

To expose fields of snow,
Little children in big coats,
Rush to make big snowmen,
They raise their voices in laughter,
Snowballs flying through the air,
Countless angels lying in the snow,
Sleighs in tow they race up the hill,
Only to fly back down,
Gliding children skate on the ice,
Small young children tasting the snow,
Then go back for handfuls more,
So many red noses,
So many cold fingers,
The sun is setting,
Now the little children leave their winter wonderland,
A cup of hot chocolate in hand,
They settle down by the fire,
Soaking up the warmth to their cold bodies,

Always watching with vigilant eyes
Guarding her own as they go about
Offering a secret smile to all who look her way
Golden curls of hair softly hang from her shoulders
Crowning her head is a small round halo
Quietly beautiful

Shinning all glittering in the new day's sun
but it didn't last long
Shiny blue shards strewn all around
The only thing left hanging; a small silver tip
but even the string is slipping away
with nothing left the string gives up

with gentle touch he lifts it up
His strong glue of love holds it secure
as slowly he begins to fix piece by piece
the shards of the little blue ornament.
Fragile and little we are all blue ornaments
at times we shine all glittering in the sun

I had a good dream lol. I dreamed Rachael Lander came back...I wish it were so...
So Rochie is in the States right now and on Thursday she has an appointment to see the doctor. I really hope she doesn't have to stay to long. I hope there is something they can do for her so that she can come home really soon and still be able to walk again.
Anyways for a more cheerful note I spent the day on a trampoline with friends...life can be good sometimes lol
